FILM CARE AND MAINTENANCE.
- The window must remain in the closed position for a MINIMUM of 48 hours.
- A slightly hazy or milky apperance, caused by water between the film and glass will be evident for upto 14 days after application. This time frame can be exceed by high humid weather such as rain. Don't be concerned, it will disappear and a uniform colouration will prevail.
- Do not clean the film for TWO WEEKS as the material requires this period for curing. A soft damp cloth or chamois is recommended for general cleaning with the use of a non ammonia base window cleaner for removal of greasy marks.
- Ammonia base products will shorten the life of the film and void all warranty.
- Do not use abrasive cloths, brushes or powders on the film.
- A few small particals or 'pionts' may remain. They are generally visible only from the outside and are inhereht to film adhesives. These points or light reflections do not affect the heat, glare or fade reduction performance of the film in anyway.
- The barely invisible border around the edges ensures that the film is properly sealed and bonded to the glass. Do not pick at the edges of the film as the seal, once briken, provides a source of contamination and may result in film peeling away from the glass.
